“Ethics to Work by” for Insurance Professionals
Interactive Class with Break-out Discussions: 3 Hour
The critical issue in ethics, in its most basic sense, is the conduct of people. It is the quality of our character and attitude that forms everything that we do. An essential component of ethics would seem to be going beyond self-interest or company interest and incorporate the rights and interests of the client. In this class, we will discuss the ways in which we are “at our professional best” and challenge ourselves to be beyond reproach, always. We will identify ethical issues of the insurance business, explain why ethical behavior matters to insurance professionals, and practice making ethical decisions in sales and claims situations.
When class concludes, we hope you have time to stay and enjoy a free delicious lunch.
Just an FYI: They are doing work on the bridge in Fairport, so allow yourself a little extra time.
